Answers, not guesses

Common questions

Everything here is confirmed by Sony or Santa Monica Studio. When something isn't announced, we say so — see each guide page for the full picture.

When does God of War Laufey come out?

February 16, 2027, exclusively on PlayStation 5 — with a physical disc edition confirmed alongside digital. See the release-date page for the full timeline.

Who do you play as?

Laufey, also known as Faye — Kratos's wife and Atreus's mother, played by Deborah Ann Woll. It is the first mainline God of War without Kratos as protagonist.

How much does it cost?

$69.99 for the Standard Edition and $79.99 for the Digital Deluxe. Pre-ordering either grants the Last Wish Armor Set, Phranque Golden Leaves and a resource pack.

Is it coming to PC?

Not announced. Both previous Norse-saga games reached PC eventually (after ~3.7 and ~1.8 years), which suggests a port may come — nothing is confirmed. Full analysis on the platforms page.

What is the Everywhen?

The afterlife of the gods — a transcendent realm where deities from multiple mythologies coexist. Its disrupted magic makes it hard to leave: "paradise or prison."
